c180 w202 stalls

Hi allyMy c180 y1999 with 84,000 kilometers today stalled and then when I tried to start it againt it didn't, so I bought some gas, when I put 4 liters it started normally, when I went to the gas station to fill it up I found it was not empty !!! So aperantly it wasn't an out-of-gas issue
any idea what was it?

Could be fuel tank level sending unit. The tank has. Two low spots and a valve that connects them, so it doesn't just empty the fuel on one side leaving fuel standing on the other side. Check the fuse box first.

Exactly that was the problem, I had the fuel tank level not working for a while but I never thought it would cause such problems, once i changed both of them every thing went fine.
