I hate to come off rude, but if you can't locate the low side and high side ports, I would advise having your AC charged by a professional.

To be honest the low side port is buried under the intake manifold and you will need a proper set of low/high gauges. I say this because the short hose that comes with the refill kits is much to short to be able to reach the low port. The high side port is next to the radiator on the driver's side. In any regards here you go.

i reached it with a small can of r134 and held the button down to release the juice into the car hose but the air still comes out warm . i guess the cooling contraption is F'ed but at least the windows work

We had to purchase a new AC machine (over $5,000) due to the valves getting internally clogged from someone previously using those cheap cans of DIY AC charge. They have sealant in those cans that clogs AC machines, if your AC needs to be charged then it also needs to the the leak properly fixed. It's sort of like using tire slime to fix a nail in a tire and leaving the nail in place.

As far as the air being warm, what year is your car? Compressors fail very often internally. But also won't turn on unless there is sufficient pressure!

its 1995 but kelley blue book and craigslist says these cars are worth like a 1000 bucks total so its not worth spending alot of money to fix a car thats worth less than the cost of repairs,

True but all depends on the condition, I wouldn't be upset over what kbb says, because its all about the market.
Answer this, for $1k what else can you buy? Assuming your 202 is decent, the answer is nothing! So your car should still sell 2-3k if it passes emmisions and has working AC (in CA that's a must)
A lot of times people will buy something 2-3k with tax return money and only expect it to last them until next tax season and run cars to the ground.
So it is still worth fixing the AC!
