lost power limp mode?

Hello all - new to the form - glade I found you lots good information here!!
I have owned a 1995 c220 for about a year and it has about 100000 miles on it. Had the engine wire harness replaced put a new MAF sensor in and changed the spark plugs. The car ran great had lots of power great gas mileage about 27 city driving w/some highway. The idle in park or neutral would fluctuate 700-1000 but was fine (700) when in gear with brake pedal depressed??? On a tear the other day the car was running fine and all of a sudden lost power like its not getting enough fuel. Anyone have similar problem or an idea where I can look next. Ordered a new fuel filter going to start there looks like the one on the car is original equipment. Thanks any input would be much appreciated.

yes I would start checking fuel pressure firstly,
might as well do the filter regardless but take note when you pull it off how dirty it was
you might have a clogged injector but start with the small stuff first so check your fuel pressure/ change filter and do a ohms test on the injectors should be a constant number on all of them around 15-17 ohms
if all reads out good then move onto other things
