I got a new manifold gasket in the mail to change mine out \
anyone know the best way to attack this one from top? bottom ?
remove the s.c first ?
I got it on ebay for 8$ its super sturdy and thick

It's a crappy job while in the car. I have not done one on a komp. But I have done one on a C230 NA. The top is easy and the downpipe is easy but god forbid you round off one of the copper nuts bottom and blocked by the downpipe flange. Use a quality wrench on those from the start!

Definitely top. I left it attached to the head when I did my head gasket on my c280.

the manifold sits under the s.c tho right ? would it be better to remove the belt, the piping , and s.c and then get at it
that would open a lot of room up to work

I have snap-on tools so im good there lol

oh one last thing anyone know the bolt sizes/ if the bolts break easly ??

my progress to tackle the manifold is almost complete I went from the top side I removed the intake, radiator hoses, bov , supercharger , and readiator resivuar
I should of removed the skid shield and jacked the motor up just a little and the s.c will come right out just take off the intake side first picks so far lol
