98 c230 climate control

My climate control panel is stuck in REST mode. Nothing else works at all. Not even the back lights when its dark. It was working great before I pulled it out and unhooked it to install a new radio below. What could be the problem? I did do a search before posting this. Couldn't find the information on my exact problem.

You don't have it plugged in properly.

Remove the connector and inspect for bent pins.

I checked to see if it was plugged in correctly and it fits in smooth. I did not check for bent pins tho. I will check that out right now

Just checked the pins and they are in great condition

Did you fix the problem? Sorry for the late imput. But might have a few ideas for ya. As i mention in several posts check out the stickie on fupabox he covers several aspects of the climate system. Including how the system works in using a combination of differnt button's used together. Sorry for being late again.

Just get a new display, they are super cheap at the junk yard.
