Hi,

Working on the rear suspension of the C36 as some arms need replacement (80 & 56 in the following illustration).

2470

Got the 17mm (part 59) for the 56 arm off but having a real hard time fitting a 19mm socket on (71). I cant have a straight shot with an impact wrench.

I've checked a youtube clip mentioned it was a 5 minute job for each (or something like that). Also. looking at the clip, seems like there is a socket & electric impact on that bolt!

BTW, i'm pretty good a wrenching and do all the work myself on the other cars.

This one has me puzzled!

Anyone BTDT with some tips?

Thanks!

Drop the subframe a couple inches.

Done!!!

Lowering the subframe made it an easy job!

Thanks
