my 1993 C280 mercedes might be having transmission issues?? PLEASE HELP

my mercedes all of a sudden started sputtering and would barely accelerate forward and the brake was very hard to press done on. the steering wheel also locked and was difficult to turn. after awhile the engine died too. My dad somehow fixed it but we dont know what was the problem. PLEASE HELP!!!

Sounds like a broken brake booster line or another large vacuum leak.

It's taking on extra air that the air flow meter isn't accounting for, lean, so your engine sputters.

There is no vacuum being built up so your brakes don't have power assist and feel as if the car is turned off.
