Is it normal for the doors to lock every time I get out of the car and close the door? Do I have some automatic locking function that I am not aware of? I'm doing so much work on the car that twice now I have had something on my mind, got out of the car with the engine running to check on something under the hood and ....locked out! I only have one key right now, so out comes the coathanger to open the door. VERY frustrating!
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
The car is a base 1998 C230 sedan.
