Rear defroster not working...

I've searched and searched through here...but I am still unsure of what it could be. I've checked all the fuses for the defroster, the button works, it even turns off after a while which it probably 'thinks' it's working...but no it doesn't work.

I saw some mentions of a certain relay that goes bad on our cars. I have a 1999 C280 by the way.

Any idea what it could be or is there someone that has had the same symptoms that can help a brother out? :beer:
