Relocating MAF pre supercharger on kompressor models.

Hello.

Just got a 1998 c200 kompressor T model. Currently having a lpg system installed. I think the maf is dead, p0100 code. I was reading about the oily maf issues these cars have.

I was wondering why did mercedes place the maf where it is and not post airfilter like many other engines.

Can/has this be done? Will it solve the issue with oily maf?

if u need a new maf goto amazon and shop around its better than the 7-800 the stealer wants ...
I paid around 100 for mine and has been good sense
