Hi guys.
Next job on the list - rear diif pinion seal and half axles seal replacement.
Looking for some inputs. I do have the MB dealer manual. So side seals not a big deal, but the pinion seal needs some consideration.
The manual is asking for the diff to be removed and pinion nut replaced, then retourque the nut to spec. I ve seen some discussions where people replace the seal without taking the diff out, keep the nut and torque it to previuos maked position and a bit.
Anyone done this job? what do you think?
