Its the bottom tray of the arm rest compartment... the velvet or material there is all fudged up. The last owner just cut a piece of cloth and glued it to the bottom, lol.

Hmm, was also wondering if I could get that coin tray or whatever someone else was talking about on a previous thread. I'd like to replace that useless cassette tray holder...

I have a 98 C230, will the coin tray fit where the cassette tray holder is, up above in pic?

if you look in the thread by denlasoul about the coin tray, you'll notice that nokia has already provided the part number.
can't help you with the armrest tray.
and this might sound silly to you, but we try not to curse on this board. just an fyi.

Hmm could you add the part number for piece number 38. thats a wood trim that got cracked for some reason (little crack) im not sure what color my wood is, but maybe you can tell me from the pic.
the bottom tray of the arm rest compartment appears to be number 59 from your diagram. so number 38 and 59 I need. :D

cover? you mean tray?... it is number 59 in diagram
could you also check the wood trim piece for the cup, number 38 in your diagram.

Rince: I have answered your questions about giving you the name of the parts as Mercedes would have called it as well. Please see my post above.
Cover = cup holder
Telephone tray = felt thing
