1998 C240 estate wierd going ons

Hi. My 1998 C240 estate seems to be acting wierd. All works fine then it won't open from passenger side with remote key,opens from drivers then the passenger window and mirror dose not work. Disconnect the battery reconnect all is fine. Then will do the same sometimes from the drivers side. Sometimes you have to open it withe the blade of the key. Car will start and drive fine. But then it will have no indicators horn windows mirrors. Do a battery reset and all is fine for awhile. Very annoying.
Could anyone shed any light or experienced this. Thanks.

Hi, Pretty sure your rear door modules either DCM3 or DCM4 or both will be dragging down the CAN bus creating problems with radio and IR. this wont show up with diagnostics.

When it faults next disconnect DCM3 or 4 one by one and see how the key system reacts.

Always reinstate the water barrier protection on the doors, use ados contact adhesive or similar.

Excellent. This would sense. The passenger rear door regulator is disconnected. I'm waiting to get a new one. This will hopefully be rectified then when the new one is got and reconnected. Many thanks.
