Hello all

I am joining this forum as a slightly frustrated owner of a C36 AMG. prior to purchasing my C36 I had a reputable mechanic conduct full inspection on the car. A few issues were uncovered, including the following error codes.
Codes stored in the ISC/CC (throttle) computer are
-144 Speed sensor signal. - Fixed by replacing the ABS computer, but made no
difference to the running.
-145 ETS slip threshold exceeded. This one returns after attempting to rev out the
engine in second.

Along with a whole lot of other niggly issues, error 144 was resolved by swapping over the ABS computer. However the gremlin which is error code 145 (ETS Slip threshold exceeded), has managed to evade my mechanic and also our local MB service center. What happens is this. When flooring it, the car gets stuck in 2nd gear at 5500 RPM - It's almost like it's operating in a limp mode, limiting the revs, and restricting gear change. It was identified that the wiring loom to the throttle body had failed, however fixing this did not resolve the error code.

It would be great to be able to drive this car to its full potential, hence the frustration. So very keen to hear back.

Cheers
