Headlights won't turn of

Hi guy's!

Anyone got an idea? A 2000mod c200, automatic driving lights still on when key is out and the car is locked.
Only way to turn of lights is to unplug battery

My only guess is the headlamp switch broke internally. Reason I say that is most cars you can turn headlights on without the key in but if you go to auto mode they are off unless the key is turned on. Has to be the internals of the switch.

Just found out, the relay for the automatic driving lights were deffective.

Had the same problem and the light sensor was the culprit.
