Im not sure what the code is. I tired searching for it as well. Perhaps maybe one is for LH-Jetronic and the other is Motronic?

Oh ok..

The reason I asked it that since my MAF acting up (no it doesn't light-up the engine light).

But the reading is not consistent

So I claimed it at the dealer and my Aftermarket warranty paid it.

I still have my old MAF, the new MAF that I got has 918 part number..

The old ones doesn't...

However the car feels like has additional 15 hp with the new MAF on it. The throttle so crisp, and the acceleration pull harder :D

I think for W202 it would be great to clean the MAF sensor every 30,000 miles.

I got a chance to took my old MAF apart and cleaned it.

I will try to put the cleaned-old MAF sensor back on the car and test (comparison with the new MAF)

By the way Joey do you know anyone who can read the fault code from MB..

From my old MAS:
A 000 094 10 48

From my new MAS:
A 000 094 18 48

I believe that MB changes the number from the non 918 to the new 918 number. I thikn 918 = new number kind of deal.

J Irwin,

I was running a C43 MAS sensor that was a few milimeters larger in diameter. But to get it to funtion properly I had to move it closer to the Throttle Body, on the other side of the corrugated rubber hose.

Felt like I picked up some minor engine response and slightly better power through the powerband.

Engine mods that only make 5Hp or so are hard to tell from seat of pants.

that's great
Could you measure the inside diameter of the C43 MAF
Possibly the pic would be nice.

I am looking to upgrade my MAF if possible, so that I can put bigger intake :D:D:D
