Hi new to the site was just wondering if anyone knows if H&R springs and #1 pads would work with 19's, on a 00 c230 kompressor. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes it will work. But you will rub on the front without massaging the fenders.

Would #1 pads work in the rear with 19x9.5 wheels?

It really depends on the offset and tyre width youre planing to use. 255 in the rear fit fine and with proper care for offest 265 would fit with minor rubbing.

But it really depends on the offest of the wheels youre choosing. Most good wheel and tyre shop will be able to sell a set up that you will be most happy with.

Talk to peter at wheelexperts (http://www.wheelexperts.com) tell him what you plan to do and he should be able to come up with something. Tell him Joey from club202 sent ya.

I'm running a 2000 c280 with H&R's with #1 pad all the way around with 19" Lowenhart BR5's 19x8.5F, 19x9.5R with an offset of 31 for the rear, and let me tell you it was pretty difficult to fit the rears. I was able to run 265/30/19 in the rear on 19x9" but when i put on the 19x9.5" I had to run 245/35/19. It could be because of the offset though because the BR5's stick out a bit more. 19"s with #1 pad is going to require some wheel well stripping and some fender rolling.

Yo thanks for the info Henry47. Do you think i would have a problem with 19x8.5's all the way around? Saw your ride on cardomain. looks sick, nice job.

You're going to have problems with 8.5" all the way around, especially in the front. The first week of running 19x8.5F with my current set up, I was rubbing like CRAZY. Even after minor fender rolling I still couldn't brake hard because all the weight would transfer to the front and my bumper would start hitting the tire. A better set up would be 19x8F and 19x9R with H&R #1 pad and Bilstein sport shocks. But even with this set up you're going to need to strip most/part of your wheel well. But then again, offset has it's part in whether you're going to rub or not.

Again, it's really dependent on your offset - the best thing to do is talk to an expert like Peter from Wheel Experts of Sander from The Wheel Supply.

I'm rubbing 19x8.5's all around with no rubbing at all - my wheels are BBS CH's with a 35mm offset. The rear has a 15mm spacer as well.
