Any one know how to reset the oil change wrench in my '99 C280. Do you need a special too or can it be done w/out tools? I tried reading the manual but noda thing....

Nope... it didn't work for me... I found the instruction in the manual under FSS check and did exactly as instructed but for some reason, it didn't reset it.
My friend who has a 2000 C280 was able to reset his, but when he tried the same instructions on my car... it didn't work either...
Maybe some more fiddling around with it...

Try it once with the door closed. If that doesnt work, try it again with the door open. I cannot remmeber which one is correct. :)

i've tried what it says in the book so many time and it doesn't work, this is on a 210 but it should be the same. i heard the door should be shut be i've tried and it still doesn't work.
