will 20x8.5 fit a dropped 202 without rubbing and no mods to the fenders?

My guess is no

because some like Jon Pek would've already done it

I think it will look really ugly. But I guess you can try to fit them in.

funny you should mention Jon Pek. I was reading a old issue of Euro Tuner today. it had a write up on his w202 with the Wald Grosser kit and the 19 inch Axis wheels. VERY nice car! I want a vollstrom roof spoiler like his but cant seem to find one:( I like his Zender spoiler too but that is even harder to find :(

Wild West Mike claims that it has been done but not w/o lots of clearence work. I still haven't figured out why his rears don't rub. Maybe I haven't pushed it hard enough yet;) . Like your siggy J:D

Ahh, the search for Volstrom continues for some . . . for some, it was a long and arduous quest, albeit with a happy ending!! :D

Anyways, let's stay back on topic - if you want to see Vollstrom stuff, run a search on Google and your wishes shall be granted.

Fitting 20's on the 202? If the car is not lowered even an inch, and you run a skinny wheel/tire combo - (maybe 20x7.5 or 20x8), it might work. But then again, your tire will have to be extremely skinny - more like 215/35 or something. Think about it this way - the bigger your wheel is, the skinnier the sidewall of the tire is going to be. There comes a point where it just can't be done. Now, I'm not a math whiz here or anything, so I can't spit out the numbers and specs. But as it is with a lot of modifications - if you really want it on the car bad enough, you can try your hardest to make it fit. :D

personally i want my car(once i have it) to be a performer first, and looks second. i know what some of you are going to say, " then go with something that is made for performance,". but i just love the 202 too much to choose anything else. 20's, my friend, would kill your performance, of course that is if you could get them to fit in the first place. but do what ever you like, dont worry about what everyone else thinks. p.s how do i add/change my sig?;)
