I am thinking about getting ASA Type 8 16" chrome rims and the Bridgestone’s Turanza LS tires for my C230. I am not sure what size tire to get beyond that I know I need 16" tires. Any suggestion would be most helpful.

One more thing where can I get chrome lug nuts?

Sorry about spelling.

well tirerack recommends 205/55/16
it's on the left side as you look at the wheels

Another option on tires would be 225/50/16.
They, just like the 205/55/16 will give you NO speedometer error.
You may want to rethink the ASA rims.
I had them once & can tell you, they are the worst stinking rims I have ever owned.

I want the AMG rims but there a little out of my price range. What do you think I should get?

I know what you mean about genuine AMG rims being pricey.
It is very hard to recommend a rim to somebody ( as far as looks goes ), just make sure you get a good quality rim.
I personally like my Borbet Type E rims ( 16 x 7.5 " ).
Good quality ( german ), reasonable price ( from The Tire Rack ) and they look an awful lot like AMG 5 spokes. ;)

What problems did you have with the ASA Type 8 rims?

They were not " Type 8 ".
The main problem was nobody could balance them.
As it turned out, the centre bore was cast, or machined off-centre, which made them ( 2 out of 4 ) hop up & down.
The thing that fooled me into buying them, was the sticker that said, " made under licence by BBS ".
