Changing spark plugs ???
Hello I opened up the compartment where the spark plugs are and I know how to remove the three standard ones, what about the spark plugs with a box type thing I dont just want to pull it out and break something could some one advise me how I get at those spark plugs
Why do the germans have to make everthing so difficult?

That box is the ignition coil
you need to unplug that to have access to the plug..
dude.... quit complaining :D LOL
Mercedes M104 engine I-6 only has 3 coil pack, which is okay compare to BMW I-6 engine, which has one individual coil on top of each spark-plug (6 coil) which make spark-plugs changing job more time consuming..

Unplug the coilpack and just pull up on it. THe spark plug is underneath. I believe the spark plug socket size is 5/8".
Good luck
