best spot to mount oil pressure sensor??

I have an autometer oil pressure gauge and it came with an oil pressure sensor.. I dont know where to tap into to get an oil pressure reading.. I had thought about drilling a hole in my oil filter housing and mounting it there.. any other suggestions??
the factory oil pressure/oil quality sensor is in the engine, need to remove the oil pan to get to it. so tapping into that isnt an option.
any ideas??
