View Full Version : 18 X 8.5 Tire Size??

I am looking for what tire size is good to use with 18 x 8.5 wheels. I do not want any rubbing. Will I need to make any suspension adjustments? Will it be better to use the same size tire all around for easy rotation? What about tire brands? What do you guys use? I am looking for around $150 each. This is on a C230 Komp. Sport. Thanks.

kuhmo's 711 or 712's ~70-90$ each for 225/40/18's but 8.5's in front will rub when you backup at certain angles. at least for me

ah and rubbing or not depends on the offset, and the tire brand also

im using 225/40/18 falken on 18-8.5 monos stock suspension

The standard for the 8.5 wheel on the front is 225/40/18
Rears can get 255/35/18

Yes i can but then i would have to get 8,5 for the rear . My carlsson 17s where 10inch wide rear on 245/40 so thats pretty wide.There was a little rubbing if three people sat in the back.


These are the rims that i got now , but thats not my car in the picture , i havent had the chance to take new pictures with the new rims yet
