Loosing Pressure ???? what would I call this part

OKAY.............I had a friend look under the hood with me. I AM loosing pressure. There is a part that connect to the air cleaner and the intake manifold, it also hooks up to the fuel pressure regulator. It is plastic and it is cracked. ANyone know what it is called?
Its also burning more gas..............

please take a picture of the part you are talking about.

Take that part of plastic to dealer and show then what you needed. It's about $2.00 per ft. I think....

Sounds like it is a vacuum hose. If it is plastic, you'll probably have to go to the dealer, but if it's rubber, just about any auto parts stores will have vacuum lines.
