ignition system issues...

well after loosing ignition in one of the cylinders twise I finally decided to seriously look into the condition of the ignition system, so I ordered new coils and wires for my c280... also new heavy duty Cu plugs... all OEM bosch parts... while the valve cover was off I also painted it black like the later cars... It appears the whole setup was the original factory parts + 9 yrs and 120k miles = enough deposits and corrossion to explain the malfunction.... all is well now and I'm getting her painted this weekend, going to finally fix some corrosion and peeling that has invaded the paint. also gonna color match the lower bumpers and side skirts to match the rest of the body paint....

I've considered the color match of the lowers on my car for next spring too. I'd love to see a pic of yours if you choose to have it done soon.

just got her back... unfortunatelly there wasn't enough time to do the color matching this weekend... will probably wait till it gets a little warmer because it takes forever for the paint to dry in this weather... my front bumper is already color matched courtesy of the P.O. I just need to do the rear and sides now
