I saw a c230 Kompressor with dual exhuasts the other day. It looked amazing. It is possible? Anyone know a place in S. Cali (los Angeles area) that does it? Pictures please. I was thinking to DTM style exhuast that come out and point upwards for my car.

Thanks

Someone dig up pics of the black w202 with quad AMG exhaust!

It can be done cosmetically. To be functional will mean relocating the battery and much creative cutting to place another exhaust on the opposite side that works (not the x-over, but a real exhaust system...)

this might get more response in performance tuning.

Kamera,

I have done 'real' dual on an inline c280. No need to cut out anything but the 'tow hanger.' Yes, they do look sick.

Now.. your definition of 'real' might have been different. But I put 'hi flow Y' where the stock resonator ends and route two pipes from there to the driver side, while one split to the right hand side (tucked in/hidden behind bumper). :)

I was going to pull out the welder and fab up some true dual exhaust for my 1997 C280 sport but I figured that its not possible
since there is no spot the trunk floor is in the way, looked under the car and figured its not worth while.

plan where to take it back from the manafold to a X over and then dual factory exhaust with some cutting and welding

let me know how is its possible[

this is awesome

A dual system runs anywhere from 500 to 800 depending on 'catback,' 'downpipe back,' and what kind of tips.

The C class is my last year project... A lot of goodies.. alot more to go.

I havent really work on it since I spun out at 2nd Creek Track in Denver last fall. The body and suspension need to be redone.

The german car pictured here has been photo-shopped...it isn't that low in real life and surely has some wheelbolts as well...the bumper is a regular C36 bumper with opening for the towing hook (as said before).

IMHO the W202 is way too small for dual exhausts unless you do it the Hank way...with a single oval shaped pipe on each side (his is a W210 - but something similar will look good on a W202 as well I guess)...a dual twinpipe (4 in total) definitely won't look good on any W202 - the car is just too small.

i have the same amg bodykit on that c-class for sale. I just wish it had fit my car.
