My stereo setup so far:

Hey guys.. Just wanna know what you guys think of my stereo setup so far. I have two ALpine Type R 12" subwoofers, Phoenix Gold T600.4 amp powering MB Quart 5.25" Components up front and MB Quart 5.25" in the rear. The subwoofers are going to be driven by my Phoenix Gold T500.2.

Here are the pics.

I've completely made this all myself and tried to make it as stock looking as 12" subwoofers can be hehe. The carpet is the closest match I could find at the carpet store:

Here it is in the trunk:

The amp rack is going to be a false floor that goes all the way across the bottom of the trunk.. It will be raised a total of 3" and the amps will be flush mounted. Here is the section with the crossovers flushmounted on the far left. The amps will be similarly done... You will be able to see no wires. The far right portion of the trunk where it sinks down is where I will have an invisible door (alcohol cabinet/tool storage). The spare tire and battery access will be completely retained due to the whole amp rack able to be lifted up.

Let me know what you think so far.

Looks good!

Are you going to have a latch so you could easily lift the amp rack?
assuming the rack will be pretty heavy after the amp is in.
And also, underneath the rack, you have to leave some cables so you could lift the rack right?

yes. the rack will have a latch of some sort, there will be extra wiring underneath to be able to lift it to access the tire, jack battery..etc

i've been goin to school and workin too much, the only time i have to work on it is the weekends and it always seems to be pouring rain... this weekend though, i'm gonna try to push to get it all done.

is that alpine crossover as well?

No. They are MB Quart RCE-213 components. 5.25" Reference series. That is the crossover that came with it. I mounted the tweeters in the factory location after manufacturing a bracket out of plastic to hold it in place. All completely stealth.

Nice! Are you planning on sticking with carpet or doing something more with flavor??

if you think the tweeter is abit too harsh, this could give you idea:

When I install for this C43, I locate the tweeter in the kick panel.

nice job, i think that the carpet makes it look very oem, which i like...i dont like a system that is too flashy..but since your looks like an actual box.........
