What's the difference? It seems that price is the same, at least here in Europe, but what's change?

F.I. complete suspension set up, with Eibach and Bilstein has been offered for 900 Euro including mounting.

The Sport shock is called HD ( heavy duty ) over here. It is more firm than a standard shock.
The Sprint is called Sport over here.
It is the firmest shock, but also has a shortened shaft, specifically for vehicles that are lowered more than 1 inch ( 25 mm to you ). ;)

The Sport & Sprint are the same stiffness.
The sprint is a little shorter, for lowering more than 25 mm. ;)

Shop man said me that both two are shorter but difference is relevant to different rod diameter!?

I'm really confused but, thanking you again I'm confident in your explanation.

So...it seems that "sprint" is the way to go!

Forgot to tell you, I'm german, so I have no problem reading the information. ;)
Sports: Moderate lowering up to 25 mm.
Sprint: Lowering up to 60 mm.

You are german and also a very kind boy. Thank you a lot.
If i chose eibach standard lowering set-up (i belive it will lower of abt. 30 mm) both sport or sprint configuration seems to be OK.

But to be sure sprint set up I'm sure is the way to go.

Please what suspension set up do you have?

Do you have also changed spring pad?

Marco

I have Eibach Pro-kit springs with Bilstein Sprint shocks.
Bilstein recommends, if you lower more than 20-25 mm, you should use Sprints.
For pads I am running # 4 front & # 3 back.
Just a nice drop, not too low to cause any problems. ;)

thanks manny. I'll with your identical set up. I do not know what is my pads. Mine is a standard elegance C200 kompressor (similar to C200 kompressor).

Good to know that you are satisfied of bilstein sprint and eibach pro kit.

The rubber pads sit on top of the springs.
You can see little " fingers " sticking out.
Most people call them " bumps ".
If you want to look under the car, you can see & count the " fingers ".
The thickest pad for the front is # 5, & for the rear # 4.
You can get them at any M-B dealer.
You may want to measure the car before you have the springs installed.
If 30 mm is too low for you, just get the thickest pads & have them installed at the same time as the springs.
;)

30 mm are a good value as my point of view. So, if i change springs I keep them. But in any case I'll check what pad # I have. Probably as elegance model they have installed highest value as yours.

However I am a lil confused about whether I should be using the HD or sport Bilstein shock setup. Does the length of the shaft affect the Quality of the ride? I dont want too harsh a ride.
