You can disconnect the NEGATIVE battery terminal for 10 minutes to reset the CEL and see if it comes back. If so, it's not a glitch and you have to take care of it.

I agree... prob. a MAS problem... happened to me. Don't spend $100+ on O2 sensor!

I've tried to clean 2 of them and all they did was get worse. Buy a new one. If someone could actually figure out how to properly clean them there would be a gold mine out there. Beware, this is a $pendy part. I would say that is 99.9% sure that it is your mass air meter (or MAF or MAS). Good luck, let us know how it turns out.

well cleaned the air floe meter out and went to see if they could reset the light and another code came out, saying that it is the air flow sensor and the o2 sensor, so i'm f@#$ed, oh well there goes my exhaust sys.

Just do the MAF first unless you have lots of miles on your ride, and it has never been replaced, then replace the front O2 also.

How hard is it to replace the MAF?

GGKosen: I don't konw what model you have, but on my C280, it is very easy to replace. It is on the left side of the motor on the very top of the engine bay. It is on the left side of the pipe that runs across the motor. There are just a couple clips to detach and take off the wiring plug.
