I did 6.5" on the front door (require modification).
5.25" would be easy fit.

for the rear door, i did 4.5"

for the rear deck i don't have any speakers.

Mike,

I actually had 1998 C230 with non-bose system. This may help:

Front 6.5” (using factory baskets):

Dash tweeters:

Rear Doors 5.25”

Using Metra kit for Toyota T100 , otherwise, like pnsji said, 4”…

Rear deck 6.5 fit right in (once you remove factory baskets), for that I installed later on, 5.25” separates, I built plates

i have a '98 C280 also. I had to have the whole seat and rear deck taken out to replace the speakers. so good luck.

My car did not have Bose, so I did not really have to remove the seats or the rear deck (though it all was removed later to run the wires and install fatmat lining, and x-over in the armrest).

Rear speakers were taking out by first removing the grills of the deck, then the actual speaker baskets...

I guess I hav the same question...
I would also like to have infinity speakers all around. So if I get it right:
Front door: 5.25'' or 6.5 if I use the factory bracket
Rear door: 4.5''
Rear deck: 6.5'' and I have to remove the factory bracket

Also, are these sizes are for INFINTY speakers?
