280 <-> 220 springs?

if i buy eibachs or hr's for a v6/280,36,43 , can i put them on a 4cyl? 220 to be exact

hey, so y can't i swap the spring from a v6? i checked stock spring part numbers, they are the same. the hr's have diff number for I4 and I/V6. know wha thte diff is? size, spring rates?
