back to life. The famous delicate Thumping The Dash method worked before, now effective no more.
Question is, can I replace just the TEMP/FUEL gauge pair or would I have to replace the whole cluster? I assume that the TEMP/FUEL gauges are identical to the parent C280 cluster and not AMG specific. I fear that the whole cluster would be prohibitively expensive since it carries an AMG part number (HWA 202 540 0111) and I would very much prefer to keep my original odometer if possible.
Inspection revealed no obvious defects (loose connections or solders, frayed wire, etc) and the sending unit is verified as good, but the gauge is dead as a doornail. Is this common in the 202?
Thanks for any inputs gents
