I just got an check engine when i was leaving school pulled the codes and it said P1700...It said something about transmission
Can anybody tell me what it is..

i called up my mercedes shop and the guyz told me that it is probably a AT kickdown cable...has anybody had this problem before, and if so how bad is it..and cost

kickdown cable, huh? I had a "trans cable" (according to the invoice) replaced, CEL came on. Total cost on parts and labor was $333. I'm not sure if its the same thing, but i'm guessing along those lines.
