I dont know of any. I would think you could get it direc t from AMG, but will cost.

You might wanna try ebay. I've seen them on there before.

You will definitely find a non-AMG one on ebay, if you see an authentic snatch it up.

Thanks for the reply,

So you'd say these are pretty rare eh'
What do you think I could expect to pay for one??

If I recall correctly, I saw an authentic one going for ~$100.

Super, are you sure you want to put holes in such a rare car,
or are you looking for the one thats flat and goes on with tape?

I was looking to do a spoiler on my C43 but I was talked out of
it. The trunk is too short I think and you already have a little lip
on there that is different from other C's. I would look at a lot of
pics before doing this.

It looks like it costs $422 at Bekkers

Appears to be for 98-00 modelupdate cars. Is there a difference on the top part of the trunk between newer and older styles?

there's a tiny bump/lip on the modelupdate cars...

replicas of the AMG spoiler are readily available from any shop that imports replica bodykits and spoilers from Asia. You could also try erebuni. I'm looking for one, but I want it in CF.... passed one up a couple of years ago for $200CDN... :(

You are probably right. My car a '00 C43 DOES have the lip on the trunk. What year did this start with the W202?

Your help is greatly appreciated !

RE: I think that the lip on the trunk of the C43 is exclusive to
the AMG 202. As far as I know other C class cars in w202 body
do not have this lip. This is one reason I didn't want to hide it.
I might change my mind if I saw a C43 with just the right spoiler.
If you come across a good pic of one, post it or e-mail it to me.

I went out to my 95 C36 and checked out the trunk spoiler that I have that the original owner told me is eurospec. I am not too sure if you can get them in the states.
Here is a pic of what the spoiler looks like:

Hope that helps some.

I have the same spoiler as cian36n on my 99 C43. Last summer, I noticed that this is an AMG original piece (there is a part number under it).
I'm supposed to see my car tomorrow (its stored for the winter). I can note the AMG part number if you want to do some research...

cian36,

Can you show a pic of the spoiler and the trunk together. What would like to see is the angle downwards that the spoiler makes to the trunk lid. Is it 10 degrees, 20 degrees so forth.

Thanks,

Jeff

Jeff,
I will go out to my shop sometime in the near future, permited I find the time, pull my car out and see if I can get you a good picture of the spoiler and the trunk. My brother (omegabenz) thinks that it is about a 15 degree hyperbolic curve spoiler. If theres anything else that you would like to know, let me know.

Went to my car yesterday and noted the numbers under my spoiler:

Heckspoiler AMG HWA 202 793
0188 Type 001 202 885
37532

Dont know exactly what are all these numbers but it may help to find what you're looking for...

Heres some pics that I got for you. They might not be the best of quality since I took them inside my shop, but I hope they do the trick.
