C43-C280 Strut Brace

I know this has been dicussed before, but what is the current way to get a Weichers Strut Brace for our W202.

I really want to get the front brace for my C43. The sooner the better.

You can get one from Jun. He goes through Phil at Autoplus. The price I got my w124 front brace was $300. The rear was $200...

No, that's a rear one... I never bought the front one because of the fitment with the electronics with pre 97 w202s

If I remember correctly, steel braces are red in color and aluminum looks like the picture above.

At first I thought I'll be buying back that strut but at the end I can't afford the whole car. :D :D :D

Thanks for the link as I lost the original part list. As you can see 292006 is the front bar i have in aluminum, 291006 is for steel. If you look at the model above it for 292005, still for a 202 but for I guess before 95 and you look at the note marking of 2 this is for a different style of front strut bar.

The orginal part list I had showed the bar to be a shorter bar that does not go over the firewall to mount on the shock tower but it just puts a brace within the engine bay and mounts to the firewall (hope that made sense)

Anyways I feel that 292005 would be the best bar for the C43 and also and US 202 that are before 97 (because of where your computers are located) because this bar doesnt require it to span over the firewall.
