W210 interior autodim mirror

Hi...

I have a W210/208 interior autodim mirror with homelink and it has 6 wires. Can anyone please tell me what each wire is for so that I can hook it up in the W202? Thanks.

The NA 202 should be prewired for auto dim so you would just hook everything back into place.

Reading your post it looks like you have just a bunch of wires and no harness. You may have to either purchase the plastic harness and associated pins or pull you current mirror out and swap the harness out of that.

Unsure about the homelink option though.

Thanks for your reply. So my car (95 c280) is prewired for the autodimming mirror? I haven't pulled my non-autodimming mirror out yet - so you're saying that there's a wiring harness near the sunroof switch/dome light already and all I have to do is plug in the plug from the auto dimming mirror?

Most NA 202 I've seen are pre wired. Yours may not be any different from that. The best way is to just take out your original mirror to see.

I've pulled the mirror and my car is not prewired.

Here are the colors of the wires coming out of the auto dimming mirror with homelink from a 99 W210. Can anyone please tell me what each wire is for?

2 x brown together (into the same pin on the plug) (ground wires?)
1 x red/white (power wire?)
2 x blue/white together (into the same pin on the plug)
1 x black/white
1 x green/white
