I'm trying to find the lowest price on a set of Bilstein sports for my '98 C280. So far the best I've been able to find is approx. 310.00 shipped. Does anyone have any links with lower prices?

Are you set on Bilstein? Two shops are having good pricing on Koni adjustables right now.

http://www.xshocks.com : Very good pricing, but you have to Email to get it. Shipping isn't so good. Net cost to your door should be under $350.

http://www.pure-motorsport.com (http://www.pure-motorsport.com/products/specials.php) : God pricing, free shipping. Net cost to you should be under $350

I'm not really set on bilsteins--I've just had them in the past on various VW's that I've owned. Any Sport shocks/struts that I can use with my H&R springs, as long as it's a SPECTACULAR deal, I would even consider a used set.
p.s. Did I mention that I'm a cheap ba$tard?

I got your best price on NEW Bilstein sports. I have negotiated new pricing with them last week and I can beat those prices.

I will blow out the Bilsteins this month for the 202 like I am doing for the 190Rev guys.

Bilstein Sports for all 4 corners for all W202s,

$280.00 Shipped to anywhere in the continental US.

$290 to Anywhere in Canada, HI, Alaska, PR, FPO/APO, etc...

Email me if you are interested.

I have more FK stuff coming at the end of the month too.

As always, promoting the community with no group buys and blow out prices! While inventory/supplies last.

They affect the way the wheel tracks the ground during corning, so yes, it does help. The springs and dampers work together in harmony to maintain a nearly critically dampened state. This prevents wheel oscillations exiting the corner and "duck diving" into a corner. And don't forget the close encounters with smal curbs and bumps in a corner!

I have Brabus springs & the Bilstein Sport Shocks on my '99 C280 Sport. Handles great. Not as good as the gf's stock 2000 BMW 323i though. Gotta give it to the beamer engineers... the handling for a stock car is awesome.

Camber bolts that the Benz dealer sells don't work. I just change tires every 6 mo. That's the sacrafice for the lowered look.

Then I would say get the Koni.

This may prevent you from getting the Koni...

Just posted this in another thread, but I don't mind doing it again. Smitty's Auto Service (http://www.aplusparts.com) They're fast and friendly. I got my Bilstein Sports for $330 with 2-day air shipping. At the time I got them, two weeks ago, they had free shipping so if I had opted for ground shipping I would've paid $294. They got it to me fast and I had no problems talking to their staff. I highly reccommend them to anyone. i got their link from MbWorld.org.

No offense, but I don't see Smitty investing profits into R&D to offer and expand the Baby Benz aftermarket.;)
