any suggestions on what springs to get? i want a drop of 2-2.5", maybe the H&R's??? also can you guys fill me in on what the pads are??? and which number pads should i use to get the drop i want. I currently have 18" rims 35 series in back 40 series in front. if any member can post pics of their lowered c class and what set up you have that would be great. Also is it hard to install the springs myself, or how much does it cost to pay a shop to put them in? Sorry so many questions, lol I just need the help. I already have bilstein shocks installed...

Even car come with different pads depending on how it sits. I would change springs and shocks to lower the car. Avoid cutting stock coils

99amg,
First remove your wheels and get down under spring with a flashlight. The underside of pads have nubs on them. #of nubs=pad #. Find out where your starting. My c43 had #2 all around. Higher #= thicker pad = taller stance. Look on inside of spring up top to find nubs:D . I installe brabus springs with #4 pads all around. Gave me about a finger gap in rear and 1/2 finger in front . Love em. You do need a spring compressor from Mb. I would see if you can find a tech that will do it under table for you. My guy did it for 150 bucks. It really only takes about 20 minutes a corner.

I have Eibach Suspension kit put on with Eibach prings and Tokico Adjustable shocks...they work great on my 96 C36. Riding on 18" AMG Monoblock II.

I wish I have some pics for you to see...but my friends have my digital camera this week...
