As you can tell I'm very ignorant when it comes to auto electronics, but can anyone give me some advice on this particular head unit: Clarion VRX935VD (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3022464049&category=32826)
What would it take to install this on my 1995 C36?
Will it even fit? What extra parts do I need, etc?

Thanks.

I don't know car electronics as well, but nokia installed an aftermarket headunit to my stock amp/speakers. Took some extra parts and accessories that I was not aware of. If this is what you plan on doing as well, then you might wanna ask pnsji, j irwan, and nokia as they helped me out big time. Also, last time I saw, pnsji also had a clarion so he might be able to comment on the unit you want :)

I have clarion HX-D10 on my car.

As long as it is standard din and has speaker level input, it should be fine.
You will need a voltage output converter, wiring harness from audi/vw and also an european antenna adapters.
Once you have everything, the installation should be easy.
