painting lower panels on 95 c220?

hey, ok i just had a lil fender bender last week, well i'm gonna fix it my self and i was thinking, should i paint the lower panels to the body of the car (the black rocker panels and black valencies on the bumpers) ? or should i just leave them alone. on the rocker panels, i'm just worried about painting the rubber piece...

it would look nice to have a solid color, but i wouldn't recommend painting rubber.

yea, dont' wanna mess with the rubber. i could just fill in the spaces with bondo instead of the rubber fillers, hahaha :)
