hey everyone I am installing my spring and summer rims, they are factory amg that came on a 1997 C280 Sport there 15" and 7.5" wide my question is are they all the same back spacing or what ever you call it, because I rotated them from last year in a X patern is this acceptable right rear to left front, left rear to right front just dont want to find out later that I screwed something up

I think they're the same width rim so it's fine.

is an x pattern ok my dad said that i should only move the front to the back and dont switch sides, because of the belts in the tire and they way they are used to going ?

you can rotate non directionals in the cross manor. For directionals you can only move them forward and back on the same side.

i am convinced, but my dad is still not he is an engineeer so it might take some convincing. So i did all that extra work of removing the tires and placing them front to back instead of X it seams to drive smoother though that way

what is an example of a directional tire ?
