silly trunk badge

I was driving south down the I-15 toward Qualcomm stadium yesterday. A shiny black 202 with clear front turn lenses approached from behind. I saw this car in the r/v mirror and thought to myself, "Nice". I let him pass me to get a better look all around the car. Nothing special....until I saw the trunk badge.

M420 ??? Whaa....? I just shook my head.

IMO, those that don't know don't care. Those that care and are knowledgeable will only laugh at you.

I couldn't have said it better. I saw an E32 AMG...eh, it was good for a laugh. It was in reality an E320 with AMG rims....and badge.

i think it would look sweet with chrome trim from auto zone around the tail lights and trunk line with the bolt on chrome exhaust tips, and a C43 badge instead.

yeah, the other day i saw this silly car with "s65" badges on it. the guy must of spent a fortune on the badges and the silly ricer brakes. The calipers were huge red units and said "//AMG" and it had this not-normal body kit. Not to mention the the rotors were all damaged with holes and shit.

weird thing is he was some hot-shot pulling into the MB of SD lot.

I was in Pleasanton, CA last weekend and saw the usual mix of fakie AMG's that we get in LA (like CLS500 AMG, etc), but I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw an '07 Toyota Camry, 4-cyl model (one tailpipe) completely debadged and the Toyota emblem replaced with a BMW emblem.

If that wasn't enough... imagine the commitment... he also covered the Toyota emblem on all of the wheel centercaps with BMW.

my pet pev is when people put an AMG badge on something that is obviously not a an AMG.... for example " C220 AMG"... the way i look at it is AMG is not going to waste their time with small engines and it make the name AMG or Mercedes look bad with the little balls a c220 has. lol

make it look like an AMG, but dont say it is untill you have something under the hood to prove its an AMG or up to AMG standards.

its already bad enough that my own car looks like a C43 but realyl its a c280 lol People think its one and try and race me lol i obviously loose lol most of the time haha

oh and its a crime for most cars to put those crome Fugly side scoops or grills on the fender or where ever on any car. you instantsly know what type of people drive those cars, not racial profiling. just saying

like at the left corner of the rear bumper( those things!) Not to mention the whole car was a crime. I rolled up next to that car in my gold C43 look alike and shook my head and laughed my ass off at the owner on how ugly that thing is. LOOK AT IT!!
