Hello my car is allways giving me funny smells like farts or worse its not me I swear but its quite anoying I am wonding if I should replace the cabin air filter or if it has one, or if anyone has any idea where this smell is coming from it would appreciated

It could very well be the cabin air filter. I got mine at the stealership for $32. It is located under the dash above the passenger side knee bolster. If you need more detail, let me know.

Yup you need to change your cabin filter. Just under the passenger dashboard. Remove 4 screws from the black cover and slide it off. When its off you will see two white bracket. Slide the nearest one towards you and the other white bracket towards the firewall. Then just slide the cabin filter down. Make sure you remember the position of the filter when you remove it. Thats it.

Does it smell like a fart or does it smell like rotten eggs? If it is rotten egg, it might be your catalytic converter. Do you only smell it inside the car? You might want to stand behind the car while it is idling and have a sniff, just to make sure.

rotten egg smell could mean that your catalytic converter is shot... ouch!
