HELP...Where does this go...

I noticed this isnt attached to anything, mech said it has to do with transmission, and that im able to do it my self, but have no clue where it belongs

..i looked with mirror but could not find a place where it goes to....i believe this could be ther reason i got my check engine light with my transmission kick down cable...its some kind of vacume pump

finally found it after looking HARD....it was a very small nipple looking like plug hidden underneat the intake....sorry for waste of room, at least i did it again on my own..lol
