Yesterday I replaced my clock and temp bulbs and I noticed that one bulb was missing, right behind the spedo and it has the "triangle" (like my message icon). Is this a hazard indicator?

It's the traction control indicator.

yup when u floor it and the tires loose grip the light will blink telling you to take your foot off the gas

it's the ETS warning light to tell you that traction control has been engaged... If your car did not come with ASR or ETS (like my 95 c280) then there should be no light bulb installed in there....

I have a 95 C220 and there was no bulb there. Does this mean I don't have ASR or ETS?

probably... if your car is not equipped with ASR and you put a bulb there is will not light up... plus if you had traction control there would be an on off swich for it in the dash above the climate control...

I think ASR was an option on 95-98 models...I'm guessing they used the same cluster, just those who ordered with ASR got the bulb installed before delivery.

this has nothing to do with ASR's but do you know the wattage of the 3rd brake light. Mine has 4W and its not as bright as the other W202's. DEaler says its 5W selling for $ 13. Osram has a 20W selling for $ 5. What's the real wattage?
