MAS cleaning tip..

I just learned about a tip for cleaning the MAS.. my foreman at work tried this on a 99 C230 Kompressor that had plugged breather tubes in the valve cover, it ended up sucking oil into the Supercharger and dumping it into the intercooler.. and then the mas would get all coated and mess up..
He ended up using lighter fluid to clean off the MAS sensor.. he removed the sensor from the housing and cleaned it with lighter fluid.. dried it off and put it back together.. worked mint..
So if anone has MAS problems.. try cleaning it before u replace it with a new one.. it may be a money saver!!

It is better to use a Electronic Circuit Cleaner.

i tried isopropyl alcohol. looks like it helped.

Change air filter often and vacuum out the air filter housing too.:)

Hey Guys I'm interested in this. I've purchased a spray for the cleaning of suction conduit does someone could suggest me how can I operate?

I've to spray after the debimeter. Please does someone can show me where the debimeter is in a kompressor engine?

Does the MAS is the debimeter?
