Well, I had mine installed in a tuning shop, they charge 55$ CAD per hour which is very cheap (dealer charges 95$CAD per hour). Total was 220$ CAD plus taxes.

It took 4 hours to put shocks and springs, which is more than twice the time for a japanese car:P The catch is that they broke a speed sensor and now my car needs to go to the dealer to have it repaired and reset teh fault code. I hope it's gonna be on warranty.

But here many little muffler shops were willing to do it but they were too busy with putting summer tires on other cars.

well it was his first mercedes. Now we know that for the front one you remove the tabs it's way faster than what we did. But for the rear it was a pain in the a*s to remove the springs.

Anyways, I'll put back on stock each winter so I'll probably get used to changing them.

I'm in SF Bay area and $400 is a bit pricey for installing
springs. Keep in mind that you'll need to get alignment
after installation and that's about $80.

$100-200 @ my shop... and I ll require you to tip the installer at least $50! :D :D

$250-400 seems to be normal for good shops.

To add my experience for data sake, it cost me $320 to have my springs installed with alignment. So yeah, $400 does sound a bit much considering people even say $320 is a lot!

Yup, definitely need the aligment after shock installation.

Do you have the phone number for Rsports? I think I might have to make the road trip to get my spring done.
