just get the euro one. The US Spec one doesn't have RDS and the voice on the euro one has a british accent - much cooler

The only confusing part is the unit gives measurements in metric so youll be driving down the street and the box says proceed straight for 200 meters your sorta stuck wondering what does 200 meters look like :P

USA USA USA USA <-- in my best homer voice

i just think the added features don't add up to the 700 buck premium of the euro one.....i have seen them on ebay for like 750.....i need that....also about how much does all that ish i'll need from the dealer cost....the cables and stuff....

If you havent read the post on the comand install take a look here (http://www.club202.com/forums/showthread.php?threadid=180) on some parts you'll need as well as the pin outs.

I have the euro command and it either gives it in yards, or will say things like "three quarters of a mile"... in addition, there's a progress bar so you can visually see how much farther you have to go.

as far as price, I've always seen euro ones going for less than US ones

Forgot to add, the Euro COMAND has support for TMC (dynamic traffic rerouting) which is currently being tested in the US. Once it's finalized and in service, Euro COMANDS will be able to take advantage of this feature, whereas US ones will not.

Took them phreaking long enough. Now we can select that option for routing too!

Seriously, I've been waiting for TMC forever! Hopefully by the end of the year it will be fully integrated.
