i need a new throttle body, the stealership told me 1800 for the part, i don't kow if you guys have parts cars or anything like that, or know of any sites or places i can check to get one. but thanks. i can supply a part number later.

Don't get it from the dealer. It cost only $1270. outside. Try Importec.com or Mercedesshop.com

www.car-part.com (junk yard in your area is the cheapest.)

i checked all of the listed sites, and no local yards have any type of mercedes. that was the first place that i checked. maybe if someone could assist me in finding the part i would greatly appreciate it. it the the m16 throttle body motor. part number that i got from the stealership does not seam to work on any of the sites, and i have requested quotes from them but could not locate the part on the site. the part number is #004-1415725. if anyone could offer help i would appreciate it. or i have to pay the dealerships price cause i need this problem fixed. thanks for anyone who helps.

that is what the guy at the dealership told me to look for on the quote for install. so i think so, i am looking for the m16 throttle body motor.

what kinda problems you having that you need to replace the throttle?

i was told that the potentiameters in the motor act up when the motor gets towards the 100 mark on the temp guage. when i use the throttle pedal it won't go above 1500 rpms. but i can keep it under 1500 and use the cruise control to accelerate.
