im pretty broke these days so can't have anything fancy but i ran into some alright deals that a poor college student can afford ..so i need you guy's opinion on this. used: 2 PPI amps and a 10" kicker compvr or 2 10" kicker solo barics with a punch 100 amp? or neither and keep looking?

one 10 wown't really do much in this overly tight trunk. might need 2 solobarics, what is oit gonna be hooked up to? stock or aftermarket headunits?

one of my buddy has them.. very good sq woofer.. can get quite loud.. depends on install.. if you like everyday bumpage.. its quite a good woofer.. and not that expensive.. if you want to get really loud get the titanium.. what amp do you have to run them??

i love memphis amp so i would have to say memphis mc-500.. great amp.. i have the mc-1000 and mc-300.. very small yet give tons of power.. but anywhere in the neighborhood of 500 - 800 watts will really get the sub moving

Tell me your budget and I could definitely help you out. I used 1 10" in the past and it is pretty loud. Depending on which subwoofer you are using.

300$ at most. at the moment im looking at a 12" eclipse alum. and a soundstream 500 watt amp. and i have a 10" MA audio sub which claims 1000watts rms but im trying to sell that. but pnsji what do you suggest?

soundstream is a very choice.. can't go wrong with soundstream.. but alittle more power to the sub wouldn't hurt

i have one 15 inch 1000watt kicker cvr (about $100) in a sealed box ($20) and im running it off some cheap 1200watt generic amp ($100) and it hits pretty damn hard. once i save up more money im gonna get a 2000watt rockford amp and another 15

well later on im thinking about changing all the speakers inside the car but at the moment just an amp and sub will do. hey ryhi how much does that 15" sub weigh anyways?

Actually, MA Audio sub is not that bad. With $300, let's say you can find $150 amp and $150 sub, for the sub, you can try something like Image Dynamic IDQ and the amp, you can try clarion or lower end phoenix gold.

yea the MA audio 10" sub i have is hitting harder than my 12" eclipse...

hm dunno really im still trying to figure that one out..but i had it on the back of the enclosure, now i just have it sitting next to the sub
